Risen

After a mysterious cosmic event strikes Earth, a small town is suddenly cut off from the rest of the world. Communications fail, electronic systems collapse, and the planet’s atmosphere appears altered by an unknown presence.

The protagonist, Dr. Lauren Stone, along with a group of survivors, begins investigating what is happening. They soon discover it is not a natural disaster but the arrival of an extraterrestrial force that is progressively altering Earth’s environment, making it hostile to human life.

As the phenomenon intensifies, people begin to disappear or exhibit inexplicable behavior, as if reality itself is being rewritten. The group realizes time is running out and that the event may represent a form of “reverse terraforming,” where Earth is slowly being transformed to host another form of life.

Amid growing paranoia, escape attempts, and extreme sacrifices, the survivors must choose whether to resist or attempt communication with the responsible entity before it is too late.

Dopo un misterioso evento cosmico che colpisce la Terra, una piccola cittadina viene improvvisamente isolata dal resto del mondo. Nessuna comunicazione funziona più, i sistemi elettronici collassano e l’atmosfera terrestre sembra alterata da una presenza sconosciuta.

La protagonista, la dottoressa Lauren Stone, insieme a un gruppo di sopravvissuti, inizia a indagare su ciò che sta accadendo. Ben presto scoprono che non si tratta di un semplice disastro naturale, ma dell’arrivo di una forza extraterrestre che modifica progressivamente l’ambiente terrestre rendendolo ostile alla vita umana.

Mentre il fenomeno si intensifica, le persone iniziano a scomparire o a manifestare comportamenti inspiegabili, come se qualcosa stesse riscrivendo le leggi della realtà stessa. Il gruppo comprende che il tempo è limitato e che l’evento potrebbe rappresentare una forma di “terraformazione inversa”, in cui la Terra viene lentamente trasformata per ospitare un’altra forma di vita.

Tra paranoia crescente, tentativi di fuga e sacrifici estremi, i sopravvissuti devono scegliere se resistere o cercare di comunicare con l’entità responsabile prima che sia troppo tardi.
