Freaks

Chloe is a seven-year-old girl living in isolation with her father Henry, who has always forbidden her from leaving their home, convincing her that the outside world is dangerous and filled with hostile people. Their secluded life is governed by strict rules and constant tension, as Chloe begins to sense that something is wrong with her father’s explanations.

One day, driven by curiosity, Chloe finally escapes the house and discovers a world completely different from what she has been told. Encounters with a mysterious ice cream man and a woman who seems to know her open the door to a far more complex reality, where Chloe may not be an “ordinary” child.

At the same time, hints emerge about a secret society of individuals with extraordinary abilities known as “freaks,” who live hidden to avoid persecution. Chloe may be connected to this group and possess powers her father has tried to suppress in order to protect her.

When outside forces begin to intervene, father and daughter are drawn into a chase that tests their bond and the truth of their identity. The story becomes a conflict between protection, freedom, and self-discovery.

Chloe è una bambina di sette anni che vive reclusa in casa con suo padre Henry, il quale le ha sempre proibito di uscire, convincendola che il mondo esterno sia pericoloso e popolato da persone ostili. La loro esistenza isolata è scandita da regole rigide e da una costante tensione, mentre Chloe inizia a percepire che qualcosa non torna nelle spiegazioni del padre.

Chloe potrebbe essere legata a questo gruppo e possedere capacità straordinarie che il padre ha cercato di sopprimere per proteggerla.

Quando forze esterne minacciano di intervenire, padre e figlia si trovano coinvolti in una fuga che mette alla prova il loro legame e la verità sulla loro identità. La storia si trasforma in un conflitto tra protezione, libertà e scoperta di sé.
