The Assent is a supernatural horror that explores demonic possession through a family-centered perspective.

The story follows Joel, a widowed father trying to raise his son Mason alone. The boy begins to display increasingly disturbing and unexplainable behavior. What initially appears to be trauma from his mother’s death soon reveals something far darker.

Convinced his son is possessed, Joel seeks help from occult experts and religious figures in an attempt to save him. However, the evil within the child proves to be more powerful and complex than expected.

As the story unfolds, hidden secrets from the family’s past come to light, and the line between real possession and psychological trauma becomes increasingly blurred.

The father’s struggle becomes not only a battle against a demonic force but also against guilt and the fear of losing his son forever.

Il figlio del diavolo è un horror soprannaturale che affronta il tema della possessione demoniaca da una prospettiva familiare.

La storia segue Joel, un uomo vedovo che cerca di crescere da solo suo figlio Mason, un bambino che inizia a manifestare comportamenti sempre più inquietanti e inspiegabili. Quello che inizialmente sembra un trauma legato alla perdita della madre si rivela qualcosa di molto più oscuro.
