Stake Land is a post-apocalyptic horror set in an America ravaged by a vampire plague that has led to the collapse of civilization.
The story follows Martin, a teenage survivor whose family is slaughtered, and who is rescued by a mysterious vampire hunter known only as Mister. Together, they journey through dangerous, ruined territories toward the north, where a safe community is rumored to exist.
Along the way, they encounter other survivors and face not only vampires but also violent human groups, including a religious cult that sees the plague as divine punishment.
The relationship between Martin and Mister becomes the emotional core of the story, as the boy evolves from a helpless survivor into a hardened fighter.
Blending horror and road movie elements, the film explores survival, loss, and humanity in a broken world.

Stake Land è un horror post-apocalittico ambientato in un’America devastata da una piaga di vampiri che ha portato al collasso della civiltà.
La storia segue Martin, un adolescente sopravvissuto al massacro della sua famiglia, che viene salvato da un misterioso cacciatore di vampiri noto semplicemente come Mister. I due intraprendono un viaggio attraverso territori distrutti e pericolosi, diretti verso il nord, dove si dice esista una comunità sicura.
Durante il loro cammino, incontrano altri sopravvissuti e affrontano non solo i vampiri, ma anche gruppi umani estremisti e violenti, come una setta religiosa che vede l’epidemia come una punizione divina.
