Heart of Stone

Heart of Stone is a dark German fantasy film that reimagines a classic fairy tale in a mature and unsettling way.

The story follows Peter, a poor and dissatisfied young man living in the woods who longs for a better life. Desperate for change, he makes a pact with a supernatural force that promises wealth and happiness in exchange for his “stone heart.”

At first, his life improves dramatically: he gains money, status, and the chance to win the woman he loves. However, over time, Peter begins to lose his humanity, becoming increasingly cold, ruthless, and incapable of feeling emotion.

When he realizes the true cost of the pact, he attempts to reclaim what he has lost, only to find himself trapped in irreversible consequences.
