Creation of the Gods is a Chinese epic fantasy film based on the classic mythological novel Investiture of the Gods, blending history, mythology, and large-scale warfare.
Set during the decline of the Shang Dynasty, the story follows a corrupt and unstable king who is increasingly manipulated by dark supernatural forces, including a powerful demon in human form.
Meanwhile, Ji Fa, the young prince of the Zhou kingdom, begins to recognize the corruption spreading across the empire. With the help of allies and mystical beings, a rebellion slowly forms to overthrow the tyrant.
The narrative combines politics, war, and mythology, featuring gods, demons, and warriors clashing in spectacular battles that decide the fate of the world.
This film is the first installment of a planned trilogy and serves as the foundation for a larger mythological war between good and evil.

Creation of the Gods è un grande epic fantasy cinese ispirato al classico romanzo mitologico “Investiture of the Gods”, che mescola storia leggendaria, magia e guerra.
