AK 47

Mikhail Kalashnikov is a young sergeant in the Red Army during World War II, fighting on the front lines against German forces. During a brutal battle, he is severely wounded and forced to leave the battlefield, an event that profoundly changes his life and worldview.

While recovering from his injuries, Kalashnikov begins to reflect on how to improve the weapons used by Soviet soldiers, believing that military technology should protect soldiers rather than needlessly sacrifice them. Driven by this idea, he starts designing a new automatic weapon that is more reliable, simple, and effective than existing firearms.

Despite lacking formal engineering training and facing bureaucratic obstacles within the Soviet system, Kalashnikov perseveres, working tirelessly through technical challenges and institutional skepticism. His goal becomes increasingly clear: to create a weapon that could change the fate of soldiers on the battlefield.

Mikhail Kalashnikov è un giovane sergente dell’Armata Rossa durante la Seconda Guerra Mondiale, impegnato al fronte contro le forze tedesche. Durante un violento scontro, viene gravemente ferito e costretto a lasciare il campo di battaglia, un evento che segna profondamente la sua vita e la sua visione del mondo.
